Minnesota vs Michigan thread

Awe, loudmouth can't handle being shown to be wrong - T2 was just awarded to Amine because he was completely behind Skillings, arm around waist and Skillings in 4-point stance because Skillings' Whizzer was weak and not deep enough (a defined control position and T2 award in Interpretations Manual). It was awarded in this exact situation as plain as day in Amine Skillings match - anybody watching saw it and knows it.

If that shoulder holds out it will take someone really freaking good to beat him. Carter and Lewis are obviously really freaking good, as is Hidlay. So 4th is a possibility.
Carver, Rec Hall, BJC, Pinnacle Bank Arena or Little Caesars Arena you are safe.
Agree, to beat him they will need to be on their game. The reason I thought 4th or even worse was because I knew he was struggling to come for another go. And he only came back for one reason, to win a championship. If he loses and drops into consi bracket then I can see a letdown and even lesser guys beating him.

Kerk going to need to work that snatch single on Gable. No sense trying to get deep.

Why was Paris called for stalling (backing off mat) and Paris got the point?
Certainly pissed off Gable when he realized how that call was made.

Unnecessary roughness on Gable for shove.

Parris could've earned one for deliberate headbutt later.

Got chippy.

They didn't award a stalling point there (or make a stalling call). GS was called for Unnecessary Roughness for the push after the whistle blew.

Damn. Gable is in a league of his own. Impressive as usual
Every time I see Gable wrestle, all I think is…..how mother f’ing good is Anthony Cassar?

I think it was called pushing off by GS.

That got a little chippy at the end. Gotta feel for Parris being Gables bitch. Then beaten by Kerk also.

Watching the 3rd period makes me think (possibly in a linear or 1D manner) Parris wants nothing to do with a pissed of Steveson.
That’s 2 weeks in a row that Parris seemed to be broken after going down by a few points and giving up multiple takedowns. He doesn’t respond well to being the hunted.

BTW, you can see the same call in PSU-Iowa Preview - Carter's T2 in SV was given while Kem still had a weak whizzer in..... it was deemed too weak and not preventing "control" in that position (Carter fully behind with arm around waist).

He certainly caved as a freshman when Anthony came hunting.
