Minnesota wrestlers under investigation for distributing Xanax

The NCAA doesn't screen for xanax was my point. The University directed Drug Free Sport to do a level 5 drug screening which doesn't test for Xanax. Campus police asked for a second Level 7 screening which does test for Xanax. Interim AD Goetz directed the request to the U's legal counsel who require a subpoena. Assume it is in the works.
Which is why I called it a clown factory. No way anybody whizzes xanax now.

BTW, the NCAA is a weaponized clown factory, but apparently not involved to date.

Actually, they took an A and B sample, so if they so chose, the police could ask that the B samples be tested for Xanax. However at this point, does it even matter? No charges would be brought for having it in the system, and the police already know who the 16 are, so identification isn't required. The only thing it'd do is require the university to put them in a drug protocol program for a positive ID.

And my point is that Minne didn't test for Xanax in the first place. Why not do a level 7 screen first since its the primary drug in question?

And why now require a subpoena? There is much more to this sordid mess than the U wants to be known.

I wonder if the parents of the wrestler who ended up in the hospital with an overdose agree with Mr. Kaess?

After reading the police report, it appears J sat on allegations of criminal misconduct involving upwards of 30% of his athletes for at least a month and a half, and he single-handedly blew up the the entire police investigation by destroying evidence, stonewalling, and warning the guilty wrestlers to hire lawyers.

No, Mr. Kaess, J isn't getting a "medal" anytime soon. What he's likely getting are his walking papers.
