I know, I have a lowly engineering degree from Penn State.

and I've eigened some values and transformed some Fouriers like no one, but help me clear this up after visiting the Pitt boards:

Is 33 more than 14?

Therefore, pitt won because Penn State has more than twice as many culture problems.

It is, but it does not mean that Pitt did not win, because Pitt uses the same scoring system as cross country teams do - the less points, the better.

Per my response in another post, if you look at records going back in time, (e.g. PSU has won 8 of the last 10) Pitt holds a 1 game advantage at only 2 points in 125 years That would be 18 and 105 years ago. PSU either holds the advantage or is tied 123/125 years (only 5 tied years). If you add 18+105 together, you get 123. Which by Pitt logic means they are equal to PSU. Mind blown... give Pitt another national championship!
