Bama.
Pats fans not spoiled just delusional to think we actually like them
BOTH fan bases have noooooooo idea how good they have it!!!!
In a salary cap/ team sport era - the best ever. The Pats because that type of longevity should be impossible in the NFL. They've won 15 out of 16 division titles. They've won at least 1 playoff game 8 straight years. And they've made the AFCCG 8 straight years. 3 Super Bowl wins and 5 SB appearances in 8 years. 6 SB titles, 9 SB appearances and 13 AFCCG games in 18 years. They've played in half of all Super Bowls since 2001. There aren't even words for how impressive that is.

The Bills, Jets and Dolphins have definitely made life easy on the Pats. I can't dispute that. The division titles alone doesn't carry much weight but when you combine it with their playoff success the overall picture is impressive.Certainly an amazing story, but it certainly helps to be in a one horse division for the longest time.
Kind of been the story for many of the “dynasties” in the past...Steelers and 49ers come to mind.Certainly an amazing story, but it certainly helps to be in a one horse division for the longest time.

Again, we’ve seen it before with other dynasties. So true. An express lane to the AFC title game. They have to win one home playoff game and they are in the final four every year.

Pats fans are delusional and amongst the least knowledgeable fan base I’ve interacted with (which I do a lot since I live up here). The best description I’ve heard is from a guy I know who grew up in the greater bahston area is that (given that nobody gave a shit about the team 30 years ago), locals are now patriots fans, not football fans. A lot of them act like bill belichick just invented the game 20 years ago.
Add to your comments that the Patriots never get an early 1st round draft pick, and their record is even more impressive. The Pats because that type of longevity should be impossible in the NFL. Yes, Cowboy fans are delusional, but the general football IQ of your current domicile is VASTLY superior to the more typical bandwagoner up here in latter day new england. Likewise, all due respect to your high school football career, but could BCHS hold a candle to even the lesser schools in Texas (or FL/GA/OH/PA/etc)? Football is just not part of the culture up here...sure, the patriots bandwagon is jam packed, but how many jump off once bill and tom retire? If it makes you feel any better my family has had 4 season tickets to the Pats since first season 1960. I went games starting at age 3. My dad played at ND in the late 50s and both my brother and I played for one of the top power house high schools in the city (Boston College High School). Not everyone in Boston is football illiterate. And as I live in Dallas trust me, no one is more delusional than Cowboy fans. Although I bet if you took a vote more people in Boston would want another cup rather than another SB. By the way, I drank out of The Stanley Cup once but that's another story. Carry on...
