Wed-Fri was Pool play...groups of 4, playing each guy once. Winner of each group advanced to the knockout phase. Round of 16 tomorrow morning, quarters tomorrow afternoon. Semis Sunday morning, final Sunday afternoon.

Yeah, Snedeker was in control needing only to win or halve his match against Aaron Wise. He lost and it opened up the door for Tiger.

They went to the pod system a few years ago to eliminate the "one and done" scenario. I guess they felt bad for those who flew half way around the world to only play one match and get eliminated.

Hope to play Austin CC some day. My brother lives about 3-4 miles away and he has friends who are social members.....

My immediate neighbor here in Chicagoland has played it, loves it. A great course for match play.

It's not NBC, it's golf. One of the subtle rules changes this year is that match play matches are now "tied" (just like "hazards" are now "penalty areas").

Apparently, there are some idiots who don't know that both the rules of golf and golf terminology underwent significant changes in 2019.

Not a golf expert but I am a golf fan. I will be watching. I will say this, Francesco Molinari can no longer be taken lightly in match play or majors.
