NCAA Championship Tickets

I live in pittsburgh and my gf is an event planner and someone she knew reached out to her and said they knew someone that needed help for the parents and boosters for reservations for dinners etc...for a wrestling tournament. That person ended up being Coleman Scott's wife Jessica. She asked me if this was for some kids tournament or something, i was like no that's for nationals, the same thing i went to Cleveland for last year. She told Jessica i was a big wrestling fan, Jessica said she would have tickets for us along with whatever my gf's fee was. I couldn't freaking believe it.

sounds like a keeper to me, though she does seem to need a little bit of education about college wrestling. ;)

Does anyone have an idea when the actual tickets get mailed out? Apologies if that has been covered elsewhere, I did look first.
She sounds like a great catch and you sound like a man with his priorities in order. Best of luck!
And it's a relief to know you won't be on here in late March asking the Seinfeld-esque question of when it would be cool to break up with a girl after she scores you NCAA tickets :p

Uhhh, think you replied to the wrong guy. I am divorced, but if she got me tickets...

Ordered tickets through Mich St. Called and they said wouldn't know if we actually get them until 2 weeks before the event. Makes me nervous. Anyone ever order through a university and then get turned down at last minute?

Most University systems have a "ticket order". Iowa State has different membership levels in the wrestling program. They limit the # of tickets you can order and they put you in a "priority list". Those higher up get first choice and then down the list. Those with "no" standing get what might be left-over. I wouldn't count (100%) on the MSU tickets unless you are a donor or season ticket holder. Good luck and hope that you get the tickets. Iowa State let's us know in February.

Thanks for info. We have no standing with MSU so hopefully it's a down year for there fans traveling.

I am hoping to get out there and stay with a cousin who does research at the University of Pittsburgh. Gotta get there. He already has 2 suites. He is an alum from PSU.

Yes...last year by PSU...HAHA. Seriously though it was last minute they let you know you were short on points last year. Imagine this year it is going to happen at many a school.
