New '24'.....

I thought it was great. There will be another Jack and Chloe. I will record the series for binge watching on a rainy day.What do people think of the new show? 24 without Jack Bauer or Chloe just doesn't seem right.
I really liked it. I liked the old one but Jack shouting and Chloe's pouting wimpers kind of got old. I was concerned but felt they did a nice job of maintaining the 24 production while being fresh enough that it seems a little new. Surprised the bad guys, at least in the first episode, are of middle eastern descent.
Hard to find a bigger fan of the original 24 than me, and I thought it was really good. One concern; they seemed to take many of the elements that made the original great and crammed them in to the opening episode. Trusting only one person at CTU, that person tasering another to get him out of the way, the thorn-in-the-side techie getting in the way... all great stuff, but seemed rushed. Glad they kept the multiple plot layers, too.
