Sounds more like a nightmare. At first, in was thinking who are Redd, Brown, and Fort. Then I realized you wanted to disparage 21 year olds who made a decision they thought was best for them and perhaps their families. Nice.
Aren't ALL statues "look alike"? What's the alternative? Now head back to your confused and bewildered room.
No statues, No tributes, No Deities, No Nothing.
Penn State has been reborn and has risen from ashes. No more worship of anyone, no more placing anyone on pedestals, this is the New Penn State, and we do things totally differently now.
The past is gone, this is 2016 and we just won the god damn Big Ten Championship, the Big Ten East, and are in the god damn Rose Bowl, with THESE KIDS, AND THESE COACHES.

Geez, my post was bit off color but after 6 years of eating s#it, having active members of NCAA, BT, PSU admininstration and crooked media trying to destroy program, perhaps we could ease up internally. It was a mock, maybe a bad one but we have to remember why we are hoisting a 2016 trophy. Those guys made impassioned plea to keep everyone together.

I know and apologize if I came across like I was talking down. But let's appreciate the kids we have had before and the kids that follow. Sure some made/make bad decisions but let's remember that they are kids. The kids are the last people we need to hammer.

I agree with the no statues....once you start, where do you stop. Penn State has always represented TEAM not individuals. And I hope the powers that be delay bringing back Joe's statue until the wounds from the scandal are far back in the rear view mirror.
No problem. Did not intend to offend and realize they were young adults. More a mock on whole football (and non) world and media who inserted themselves into the statue and who we honor. But, I might actually kick in if people wanted to fly aerial ad over Genoa, OH saying "Eat sh#t, we are back. 2016 Big Ten Champs". Pay more to make a stop by a certain commissioner's residence in Chicago.
The statue we are referring to was for an "individual" that led the "team". If you remember (and yes it may be hard to because it was so long ago now), the statue was accompanied by an image of all the teams/individuals he led on the field and in life. No other statues are needed. Also, any idea just how long we have to wait until the "wounds of the scandal" are far enough in the rear view mirror?.......I'd be interested to know what time frame we are looking at.
You start with the one that was there originally and stop there if you want.
Having a statue doesn't affect anything like 21gums would have you believe, hell Bama has one for every coach that has one a title there(including Saban unveiled in 2009) and they are doing just fine. Auburn and Florida have statues for their respective Heisman winners. None of them have a problem celebrating their past. Not sure why gums does.
