Next year will not be fun NFM

We have talent and we have holes. Thin at LB. no athletic OT. WR problems. ?2losses best case
I'll take what PSU has at LB this year over what they had coming into this year.

Parsons, Jan J, Brooks, Luketa, Cam Brown (most had meaningful snaps this year, Luketa will get even more). Then you still have Katshir coming of the shirt, Brandon Smith and Dixon....who are enrolling early. Walker is a very athletic OT, hut again...he is also young. I'm also pretty excited about WR next year. The best WR's this year were true and RS frosh. Hamler, Dotson, Shorter, and Pat F all played a ton. Pat F and Hamler were two of the best offensive weapons this year. The biggest hole is filling in for Trace as he was a gutsy SOB that never quit...we don't know what Tommy or Sean will do there. Trace was the leader of this offense, who will it be next year?

That said we should have a good OL for whomever to run behind. I think Sanders would be best served by returning.

We were supposed to have a good offensive line this year, and it still wasn't up to par.

I'm not so concerned about our wide receivers in 2019. Thompkins and Johnson dropped a lot of passes this season, but they both graduate. Dotson and Shorter showed great potential as true freshmen, and Hamler is obviously a playmaker.

We have greater areas of concern in my opinion.

Johnson has graduated, but he's a redshirt junior. He still has a year of eligibility.

No idea how next year will turn out. I’m not particularly excited with Stevens at QB...I’d rather see Clifford.

The DL should also be upperclassmen laden and stout. Usually when our lines are good, we are good.

That is always questionable. We need better coaching in that area in my opinion.

I know you’re a troll here and have not had one post that we haven’t ;) at.
Anyone who thinks ohowihate is dropping out of contention is naive or dumb. Maybe both if possible. They reload, not rebuild.
Day is going to keep the locomotive humming down the tracks.
They’ll be on top for a while.

OL
Urb will still be in the shadows helping with recruiting, coaching decisions, etc. Helping Day make the coaching transition.
