Football NFL Players vote Micah Parsons the NFL's 16th best player

His decision to skip is senior season was brilliant. Sad for us as fans but so smart.
He skipped his junior season before his senior season came around.

Don't know for sure, but it seemed like Micah would have gladly played 2020 season for PSU if the B1G and PSU were more decisive about playing during the first year of Covid issues.

Losing Micah Parsons and Journey Brown (cardiac risk) for the entire 2020 season was a huge hit.

By the way, Parson was the highest ranked 2021 rookie in the players' vote for Top 100 players.

I apologize--I meant final season not sure why I said senior--good correction.
Regardless of what influenced the decision it was a great decision. More top tier guys should consider doing the same IMO

You mean more top tier penn St guys or would you be cool with all of Ohio state's top tier players opting out early? Ohio St has 3 of the top 7 rated players in college football, so they should all do as Micah did right?

We're seeing more of that recently -- particularly with highly-ranked pro prospects skipping bowl games in their 3rd year, or even skipping the entire season in a few cases.

As a fan of college football, I don't like the trend, but the future financial considerations are real.

Literally anyone at any school
Why wouldn't that apply to Ohio State?

I understand and respect your frustration with it. I'm fine with it unless they sit out a playoff game as I don't value the bowls. I wish they'd just do away with them but that's a different discussion
