Agree with Kid here, on the follow-up questions the answers to which probably stopped Cael and company from pursuing it to actualization.
As to Lion-around's question ('the question is why was this even being considered')...that answer is simple: Cael, Casey & Cody will consider *anything*, within the rules. I'm starting to think that among Cael's many stellar leadership qualities, innovation may be his very best.
Lastly, the FloBros have definitely earned their cred, and that should be applied here as well. Especially when the report is about a mere discussion.

If you make an argument against pulling it, then you're not being supportive, should they decide to pull it. However, if you make an argument for it, somehow you are being supportive of either decision. Logic.

I do not know enough to make an informed decision as to whether Mr. Hall should wrestle this semester or not. This team will more than likely score more points in March if he does. If that is the only factor one considers in making the decision I believe that to be very short sited. I hope that the best decision is made for Mark Hall, Mark's family and the team. I support them no matter.

Weighed in tonight and if he goes, all those who "support" Penn State, will be called on to be supportive of Cael's decision to pull the redshirt.
What about Zain? He was a year younger than Hall and didn't redshirt. He could have been a finalist as a redshirt freshman (Stieber). Was that a disservice to Zain? Short-sighted?

Or Suriano this year too. I don't know their situation any better than Mark Halls. My point was that only considering one team factor when we don't know their differing individual circumstances is short sited on our part.
