Football Nick Singleton / Kaytron Allen both set to return for 2025

I'll give you that. You aren't blindly biased toward Penn State. But you ARE blindly biased toward Drew Allar.
Not at all--I've said repeatedly he played poor on Saturday. There's been valid criticism of him in that game. I fully agree he has a tendency to "aim the ball" rather than just throw it when things are going well. He doesn't always make the correct decision but no QB does. The issue is people focus on insane things like he should have somehow got the ball to his 4th option while he's running to his left. Or that he takes too many sacks when he's rarely sacked. Or that Beau should have been the starter. The comments made here about Allar are laughable. They're from people with an agenda.

JJ had a better supporting cast (WRs) that actually could make plays
And Allar's not coming back to go 10th--he can do that now
He's allegedly coming back to improve/grow/develop--that isn't happening throwing 22 times a year like JJ did last year

There's two discussions here--all of this is great for Penn State--none is great for Drew's development which should be his priority. Drew's loyal though and is putting what's best for his friends/teammates first so he's coming back to win a title and it's hindering his long term development.

Next year we should pound the ball--that doesn't make sense with Allar as your QB--you're wasting him and his development is being stunted.
You should watch Drew’s footwork sometime. Drew has a ton to work on at PSU. He’s not a top 10 pick right now. Not even close.

It is so obvious that you are not a PSU fan. True PSU fans are excited about Allar’s return with the offensive line and RB’s returning. Yet, you continuously advocate for his leaving without ever expressing joy for his return. If you were truly a fan, you would be excited for this player, who you allegedly deem as special, returning to the team who you allegedly cheer for. Every single post that you make is annoying and frustrating for true PSU fans. You are obviously trolling and the board moderators are allowing it.

if this were my board, you would be banned for obviously trolling. It would certainly clean up this board of the junk.
Finally figured it out after 20,000 posts. Progress.

He may best one out in the spring lol
As either Allen or Singleton are returning without guarantees. Martin has no chance to get meaning snaps at RB barring injury
Maybe you need to go get laid
If you're playing 3 backs you don't have a good one. Two guys just got a lot of cash to come back...that's not to sit kiddo
UM Corum, Mullins, Edwards, and Charbonet played until he transferred, great backs, and Haskins the year before. With inujries you need at least 3 good backs, playing each one of them.

Edwards had 35 carries in 2021--he didn't "play"
Please let me know what year you think 3 or 4 backs actually split time because it didn't happen at Michigan.
You need 3 backs--one of which will only get carries when someone is banged up of the game is over--see Edwards in 21

He's 100% a top 10 pick right now--you all make way too much of his footwork. That's not going to improve in this offense.
Again, his floor would have been the Giants
Make way too much of his footwork? You don’t know ball. Not sure why you debate things that you don’t know. Ask Tom Brady if footwork is important for a QB.

you say this all the time when you don't have an argument. maybe Indiana went up 7-0 and you think they beat Ohio State
I never said "football isn't important"--this is where you don't read and get mad because you refuse to listen--it's like a toddler
I said "you make too much of his footwork"--that's not "footwork isn't important". Watch Allen, Mahomes, Stroud, Herbert, etc in college. Hell, watch Burrow. Footwork isn't ever pure in college. It's still not pure in the NFL for most of those guys. All QBs in the NFL throw constantly without stepping into the throw--they have to--if you can't make those throws you can't play in the NFL. Drew's footwork has to improve, like all of them, it will happen in the NFL not in college--especially with our scheme.

A run heavy offense without a legit receiver makes us Michigan and limits his opportunity. Great for Penn State horrible for Allar.
As another poster pointed out that run heavy offense really screwed JJ McCarthy huh. It takes a special kind of stupid to keep making your incessant idiotic claims.

You keep saying this.
JJ and Drew aren't the same player. JJ wasn't asked to run Read/Option. JJ ran a true pro-style offense and was under center
If we change our offense then I'm on board but we won't. Drew will remain in the gun or pistol with 8 in the box and WRs that can't beat man coverage while forced to run read/option. How is that the same as JJ?
Also, Drew's goes higher in the draft today than JJ went last year. JJ fell to 10. If Allar's on the board at 10 he lost money.

Give it up son, you're toast......

Give me a year--you don't have one--you just named guys that weren't actually getting carries because you know you don't have an argument
I promise you--Allen and Singleton aren't going to splitting time with Martin
