Anyone see him wrestle? Was his leg taped up?
El Jefe... I don't see that remotely happening.Kuhn did not achieve Bronze Standard. He cannot receive an at large bid.
Suriano can help us more by beating Tomasello at nationals. Of course, that would require a lot of people here to lick their wounds, swallow their pride, and stop spiting him for an entire weekend.

I don’t see him facing Lee at nationals unless it’s on the backside. I think Lee ends up on the top side of the bracket which would put him on the same side as Cruz who I think gets the 1 seed. Even though he’s been keeping it close with guys you wouldn’t expect him to I think Cruz has the style to beat lee. doesn’t look like Suriano is 100% but according to Kyle Snyder neither is NaTo. That match is a toss up to me regardless.I hope Suriano tools Tomasello and Lee. Rutgers doesn’t matter and we don’t have a 125 until next year.
No freaking way Cruz beats Lee!!! We will have to wait til the seeds come out but my guess is 1-Cruz. 2- Nato. 3- Lee 4-Suriano. Cruz is not beating any of those three.
Lee is my pick to be champ. Suriano is a big question mark. Cruz has too many close matches and will get out muscled by the guys I mentioned. Lee definitely should have beating Nato but made a few mistakes. He made a huge jump from their first match in the dual. I don’t see anyone beating him come NCAAs.

Yea at least for one weekendWe can do it,......if it helps us out!
I expect Fix to go 133, but if he goes 125 he'll have a lot to say about this.I tend to agree with much of this. I picked NaTo to win B1Gs but, barring illness or injury, I don’t see him beating Lee ever again. Lee’s progression seems to be on an upward trajectory that the others aren’t. He’s kind of like Neo from the Matrix — just starting to understand who he is and what he’s capable of doing. Suriano is like Agent Smith — disgruntled, domineering, and fierce, but ultimately not “The One.” NaTo is like Morpheus — a worthy elite commander from an earlier era. I haven’t seen enough of Cruz this year to have a strong opinion, but the couple of his matches I did see and the reporting of others convince me that he just wasn’t manufactured with all the new tech and firepower built into the 2018 Lee model. If Lee stays healthy, it’s easy to imagine a Zain-level of dominance from him over the next few years. I can imagine Suriano being the equivalent of Sorenson for him — able to beat everyone else but never quite able to bridge the gap to Lee.

Could add Vito Arujua to that mix as well if he’s convinced to go 125, he’s not bigI expect Fix to go 133, but if he goes 125 he'll have a lot to say about this.

Lee now has had two matches with NATO and has yet to take him down even once.
That said, I still think it's a complete tossup between those two. I'd throw Suriano in with them both if he were healthy. I do agree that Cruz will not win.

If he was he would be undefeated.Yeah but the first match Lee definitely did not show any real offense against NATO. This match Lee was the one on Natos legs a few times and could have scored. What do you think will happen if they meet in NCAA’s? I bet Lee gets a TD. And we know Nato will not choose bottom. Plus Lee improved from there first match even though he lost this one. All Lee had to do was not give up that last TD. Nato will not improve. Lee will definitely improve and I am sure is going to be extra motivated for NCAA’s. Just my take.
Don’t forget Lee is in the best lightweight room in the world!!!![]()
I’m with Chris. Toss-ups between those 3, NATO, Suriano and Lee, though I’m willing to place Cruz as close enough to be included.Lee now has had two matches with NATO and has yet to take him down even once.

Ha, never and always are words I don’t use regarding sports, at least the competition side of things. Saying “I will ALWAYS be a Cael fan” is ALWAYS ok.Roar told me one time that ever is absolute and for a very long time

Probably true, but Lee did get to the legs this time. Just has to finish next time. And if he does, he probably wins with that top game of his.Lee has wrestled Nato for 14 minutes and has yet to take him down, while hes been taken down twice
unless that changes he isnt going to beat him again IMO
I'll add that i believe a healthy Suriano beats them both (Lee and Nato)
Lee was in super deep on NaTo yet somehow didn't score. The way Nick looked Saturday--he isnt beating any top tier guys at Natty--maybe the 12 days will make the difference-- but he did not look goodKuhn did not achieve Bronze Standard. He cannot receive an at large bid.

Why? I thought you had to weigh in every day?Wouldn't it be better to wrestle NATO on Friday night rather than Saturday night? No telling how big he will be Saturday night.
So Cruz must be Trinity. Makes sense.... I haven’t seen enough of Cruz this year to have a strong opinion, but the couple of his matches I did see and the reporting of others convince me that he just wasn’t manufactured with all the new tech and firepower built into the 2018 Lee model ...
And LemonPie wants an 8x10 of Cruz wearing black leather! So Cruz must be Trinity. Makes sense.
