Obviously not. If they played like this every game all year like you say, they would have ended up with about 5 wins, not 21.
If you’ve ever read any of my posts you would know I’m not a pro-Chambers guy. He’s not great, but the team isn’t usually this bad. I don’t want Chambers gone based on how they played this year, I just have major concerns about where this team is going to be in two years if Carr and Watkins leave. I also have concerns about their complete lack of depth and no inside players. But they’ve played some good games this year and will be good next year if everyone comes back...but then what? And as far as tonight, there’s only so much Chambers can do when the team is shooting like a bunch of second graders who can’t reach the rim because it’s too high.
Someone on the board said Dunphy can’t coach anymore? He was always my pick to take the job when Chambers was hired, but they couldn’t lure him away from Philly.
Didn’t watch the first half.....holy crap, they look like zombies watching Temple get layup after layup on backdoor plays here in the third quarter.

Without him they might have won 10 games this year, but I doubt they would have won that many.
He’s not a team player. He’s a Carr player. PSU would have been fine with a real, less selfish guard.
He’s the highest scorer in the Conference...team ball is a great concept, but you have to have someone who can put the ball in the hoop. We’re seeing tonight what happens when they don’t have Carr scoring...they’re losing to a bad team and scoring in the 40’s three quarters into the game.
Chambers isn’t great, but tonight is not on him...you can’t coach when your players can’t shoot. The best coach in the world can’t win if his guys can’t put the ball in the basket. They’re even missing gimmes.
There are problems all around. Scheduled themselves out of NCAA consideration and now playing as if looking forward to summer break. Chambers in game coaching lacking. Find out why Stephens’ job description has changed after his hire. He’s now a babysitter trying to keep guys out of trouble.

Wasn't pretty but they won on a night when Carr couldn't make a shot. Tough test at ND next, gotta play better vs. the Irish.
