Last year was a great season when we made the regional final and almost the frozen 4. It’s tough to make the NCAA tournament in college hockey.

Yes, I know that. I watched the Michigan Final 8 game on TV. I also attended the Saturday night MSU game in 2022 at Pegula the week before Thanksgiving. That team got off to a great start but was rather mediocre to poor for much of the Big 10 season.

I respect what Gadowsky has done overall with this program. However, I just sense that it is beginning to stagnate. In the end, he needs to recruit more NHL draft picks and future NHL draft picks to be able to compete yearly with programs like Michigan and Minnesota, as well as the other Big 10 teams.
