The tweet from Donohue stated "Penn State CB John Reid looking strong" and then you commented
So while no body said the exact weight (do we really need to parse words?) there were certainly implications that it was a lot of weight. So again I merely said he looks healthy and that it was not really that much weight for a D1 football player (AND IT’S NOT, now watch Kevin Givens, that’s man-sized squats).

And I did say he had a couple of reps that almost looked like his form was going. Did you watch? His strength coach probably will tell him the same. But I’ve been extremely complimentary of Reid. As I said, he’s hugely important to our D this year. He’s fast and smart and though I hadn’t stated it before, he’s the type of student athlete you want representing Penn St.
Why is their such a hissy fit about me saying 315 is not a lot for a D1 football player on squat? Is there some other reason that you guys are making this such an issue? The only comment that has had any value on this subtopic is OhioLion’s suggestion that the strength coach may still be holding John back some. That is valid although watching those reps, I get the impression that 315 and that many reps is probably what a healthy Reid does, which is fine, just not eye-popping like Givens.
