Wow! You watched these conference championship games and you can greatly appreciate the coaching it takes to get these kids ready for the moment.

I am watching offensive plays that look like someone knows what they are doing. LSU offensive coordinator is really good.

On defense, I am seeing defensive backs actually playing the ball and staying with 5 yards of their man.

Kirby Smart is no James Franklin type during the game. He is out there coaching defense when they come off the field. He just doesn’t sit there with a lost look on his face.

Just my two cents.

I watched Oklahoma’s DB’s get torched not once but twice and almost lost the game.

Yeah, Georgia’s defense looks great today. Smart is all over it.

As much praise as the LSU OC has been receiving, kindly consider the following:
1) They clocked the QB as having almost 8 seconds before receiving pressure on at least one play, and he hasn't been pressured much overall on passing plays.
2) The LSU heisman QB escaped pressure even when it was applied and turned it into game-changing gains on at least 2 occasions...most QB's would have been sacked on those 2 occasions and the LSU star OC would not have looked as good.

So, yes the LSU OC seems to be a quality play caller and of course he has a role in preparing the players (and deserves credit for that as well), but also consider the atypically good QB play and atypically good OL pass protection.

If only Franklin could lose his conference championship game every year like Kirby! And by 31 points to boot, you would consider him a genius!

And that what it’s worth. Did you see the skill level of the LSU receivers? If Smart’s doing such a good job coaching defense, why are they getting blown out by LSU’s offense?

Kirby Smart is one of the worst game managers in the college game right now. And he obviously doesn’t know anything about the offensive side of the ball.

It’s good to see the shallow lacking depth responses.

Georgia’s defense was having issue and it was the head coach getting with them as they came off the field. Also huddled them on sidelines to go over what the offense was doing. The point was, the HC was INVOLVED.. actually during the game. But the shallow focus on an individual play rather than the game.

A few post non stop and view this as their board. I am here to bring freshness. An educated perspective into PSU football. I am no homer and I don’t view my words as gospel. I give topics to ponder but from an experts point of view

You're casting pearls before swine. Better take your insightful genius elsewhere where you'll be appreciated.
