So.................... I had a thought.
What if the reason why Barkley struggled rushing yesterday was because the defense was stuffing 8 - 9 in the box to stop him on every play.
That would open up a lot of single coverage in the passing game, which it did in the second half yesterday.
Kudo's to McSorley to mostly take advantage of that in the 4th quarter.
With that being said, even if that were the case, the offensive line is still struggling.
Because, pretty sure defenses stuffed 8 - 9 guys in the box to stop Ki-Jana in 94 & obviously, it didn't help much.
Plus, McSorley was running for his life most of the game yesterday.
The thing that of-course makes Barkley so special, is his ability to beat you multiple ways in-which he obviously did yesterday in amazing, unbelievable fashion.
Ultimately, I'm concerned about how our o-line will perform against Michigan's stout defense.
There's no doubt about that!
