What games? People can argue all they want about how he should react. That's opened to debate. What isn't open to debate is the actual words that came out of his mouth at the trial. I will continue to severely object when people change those words.
Mike clearly didn't need it for the trial or any other times he has testified. The defense this time didn't even try and discredit MM on the stand. If you haven't noticed Mike has actually done pretty well for himself every time he has testified.
I welcome unclelar posting here with his point of view from the last many years.

There is really nothing to debate. If Mike was certain he witnessed a child being sexually abused that night......he is more responsible than anyone other than JS for what happened since then.
Do you mean he did well for himself when he testified that the GJP was going to be leaked? Was that all in the plan?
We are on lunch break but in rereading Jack's testimony back to the jury it becomes painfully clear that Tim reported to Jack that Jerry was naked in the shower with a kid. Tim banned all kids from campus and told Jack that.
Jack knew it was a 2nd mile youth & did not find out the identity of the child and chose to do nothing.
Jack kept it in-house and did not report that to outside agencies like he would do with other exact knowledge. When CMHS / CYS reported to TSM - Jack banned Jerry from all kids. (Which is what Penn State did, basically)
Jerry did not lose his child line clearance as a result of 2001 so could continue to fund raise for the organization.

I don't know details of the Paterno family lawsuit but if Spanier goes down, the family's lawsuit will go nowhere. And Spanier's lawsuit vs. Freeh goes nowhere.
Good news is that is out there,,,,bad news this isn't his trial and apparently the state never once went after him.

I'm not sure yet if that's a loss for the commonwealth. I'd wonder why he didn't immediately inform Raykovitz, instead of waiting app a month .
Not at all. How someone will react in a given situation based on human nature and someone's preference given two choices are to completely different things.

All part of the plan. Hell, even Chuckie from PennLive said the Prosecution helped the Defense more than themselves. The only thing I can think of to explain was Jim Marshall running the wrong way which ended up for a Safety fo for the other Team. How appropriate given one of the Players' in today's case is Ditka.
Disagree. The standards are much different in a civil trial. As for the case against Freeh, much of this week's testimony contradicted his "report", "opinion", or whatever he's calling it these days. And Spanier's trial has nothing to do with the Paternos or the NCAA.

You would think at some point the state would say......hmmmm, money influencing a cover up or lack of action by a charity. Maybe more than one group missed the boat here and had even more to lo$e at that point in time. I never understood how they closed up shop in the middle of the night, but how can the OAG sit in there condemning GS while calling JR to testify.
The jury wants to charge JR with EWOC.
After this trial is over, it will be interesting to see how many of the jurors are surprised to find that TSM and JR faced no charges. That is probably one of the things that the media group seeking access to the names of jurors is hoping to ask.

So the testimony included him knowing it was a TSM kid, admitting keeping it in house, and not losing his child abuse clearances?
