Nothing like a JV match in Florida. Bad look for both teams. Cornell doesn’t get many good matches being in such a weak conference. Then get a chance to wrestle a real program and does that.

Additonally, the setup was awful with seats on a flat surface and the mat on the floor. The start was delayed and several matches stopped for clock issues. It was generally poorly organized. I found a corner with a view and stood throughout.

My understanding is that Fernandez is out for the year due to injury, and Furman will be the starter for the postseason.
