Super excited that Sammy is coming all the way back from all he endured. I really hope he takes 3rd (too big of a bearclaw fan to say 2nd), but just starting is an incredible accomplishment.

Amazing! Way to go Sammy! While I felt so bad for him and was pulling for him, I was a serious doubter that he'd ever wrestle again, yet alone be successful. He has so much to overcome, the serious wounds and injuries, the long layoff. Good for him, he's already proven me wrong and I hope he has a successful return.
Great to see Sasso wrestling again, incredible determination to get back on the mat.

Was great to see Sasso back on the mat. Sounds like dropping to 157 is on the table for him.
Such an inspiring story, I admit I’ll now root for him even over Bearclaw should they meet next March. Surviving a gunshot trumps patient benchwarming and no one convinces me Sammy wasn't robbed of a title against AOC.

Well, at least Mendez earned his place on the anOSU wall of national champs in Covelli Center. Unlike a couple others from the 2019-2020 season, when the NCAA tourney was cancelled. But bickering about Mendez's Flo ranking is a similar mindset as declaring Pletcher and Moore to be 2019-2020 national champs.
