I think we'd may have gotten routed if we went into Columbus ranked #3 and undefeated. Our team was getting a bit cocky. If the buckeyes saw that as "The Game" I'm not sure we can match their talent.
Coming off a loss, they will partially shift their focus to Michigan the following week. Not that they're won't be motivated, but they will clearly not be as focused on us as if it was a #2 vs #3 match up. Meanwhile, our team is humbled. Minnesota identified true weaknesses which we will work tirelessly to address over the next 10 days.
I now think we win the game. I think we match up fairly well with them. And our team now has "something to prove". Ohio State doesn't.
