Didn’t want to start a new thread but Mekhi Lewis just injury defaulted to Wentzel from Pitt. Wentzel was leading 3-0 at the time. Shoulder injury for Lewis and he looked in a lot of pain

That's a bummer. What was the context of match up to that? Wentzel up 3-0 is odd before the injury, unless it was 1-0 before the injury

Wentzel with a takedown in the 2nd and rode him hard. Lewis took injury time and Wentzel took bottom. Escaped and after the 2nd period ended Lewis couldn’t continue. One of them must have chose neutral to start the 2nd. I started watching just as Wentzel took him down.

These two teams just arent exciting to watch for being #2 and #9.

NC * could just be a super compelling upset fest for #2 on down. Teams just continue to look flat.

You may be right and I very well could be too harsh. But I really dont think they just shut it all down and guys weren't working out. I just dont believe guys sat in their dorms for 2 weeks.

Yeah, watched that going back and forth from ACCN to BTN

Just my opinion, but I thought Lewis was looking for the exits. Did leave on the 3rd stoppage, something with the left shoulder.

Wentzel looked good.
