ONE and ONLY ONE REASON PSU football is again relevant

Yes, I haven't a clue from the POS servile douche who defends the corrupt, cowardly scum, thieves and whores who threw the Football Program under the bus, and created the "False Narrative" in the first place to use as a "foil", to protect themselves - go figure!

Considering the source, I think a good hearty GFY boot-licker is in order!

Did the truth hurt your feelings? And "false narrative" is just buzzwords that jobots
use because they have nothing of value to say.

The removal of sanctions was done because elected POLITICIANS (they always like a press driven fight) were getting involved and the NCAA wanted NO PART of that !!! So far easier to "run away". Plus they knew they had WAY overstepped their authority.

Nice try, but all Corman wanted was the money. He could have very easily limited his focus to that.

Art, kind of what my point is. The NCAA did not want ANY other "complications" or bad press. So by removing the "target" (sanctions), no hot topic on the table. That is just my opinion.

The truth that your gutless, scumbag, cowardly friends shamelessly used a bunch of hardworking 18-22 year old PSU student-athletes as a "foil" to protect themselves and unjustly threw them and the entire PSU Football Program under the bus - does that "hurt my feelings"? No dip$hit, it doesn't "hurt my feelings", but it says one hell of a lot about what kind POS, waste of oxygen douche-bag you are though!

,Who are you kidding. The facts are that no established college coach would consider taking the PSU job after The Ship of Fools stabbed Joe in the back. Jaws called Ira and let him know that BOB was out of a job.
Identifying James Franklin? He always wanted to be at PSU and anyone with half a brain would have gone after him when BOB left.

"BOB was out of a job." That is news to the sane people that follow football. And from your
comment, you qualify as someone who would have gone after Franklin.

Reading this thread reminds me of Frau Barron and the bot trying to congratulate themselves over the sanctions being removed even though they fought getting them removed.

Throwing out a psycho rant doesn't help your case. No one is going to defend you because
they know you are clueless.

As far James Franklin goes, my niece went to school with him. She tipped me off about him when he took the Vanderbilt job. In fact, I was at the Music City Bowl with my sons when BOB took the job at Houston and we followed all the news in Nashville in hopes he would get the job. You must have been crestfallen when he paid homage to "The Great Joe Paterno."

Josh McDaniel returned from Denver and it was known that he would be the OC for the NE Patriots in 2012. Bill O'Brien DID NOT have a contract with the Patriots and his agents hoped that the Super Bowl run would bring him some HC offers in the NFL. At that point he had none.
I go to sleep at night and forget more about football than you ever knew fool. I suggest you pick a fight with someone who you can impress....not many second graders on this board however.

My prediction for Saturday night:

Penn State wins the football game. B1G Champions!

In the post-game, Jim Delany presents the trophy to James Franklin, and Franklin begins to talk. But out of nowhere, Jay appears on the podium! And he says this:

"Yo, James, I'm really happy for you! And I'm gonna let you finish! But, first, I just wanted to say that my family is responsible for all of this. My family was the best Penn Staters of all time!"

And with that, Jay leaves the stage as suddenly as he appeared.

a silly, gratuitous shot at Jay and the Paternos for no reason other than to be a jerk. The Paternos support Franklin and the team and are enjoying this success.
This is beneath you, Mich. I think. I hope.

Yes, I'm clueless from the dip$hit that doesn't even realize that the corrupt scumbag, POS PSU administrators he is defending were on the NCAA's side of Lawsuit AS NAMED DEFENDANTS that forced the NCAA to remove the sanctions to have the case dropped before the PA Court found against both the NCAA and the corrupt, all-powerful Executive Committee of the PSU BOT in court (the Court had opined that the EC of the PSU BOT had violated PA Fiduciary Trust Law in entering into the illicit contractual obligations they entered into via the "Consent Decree" contract with the NCAA).

IOW dip$hit, the corrupt, OG scumbags running PSU via the EC of the BOT were named DEFENFANTS along with the NCAA in claiming that the UNJUST AND ILLICIT NCAA SANCTIONS UNDER PA LAW should remain in place unjustly harming 18-22 year old PSU student-athletes and the PSU Football Program! Perhaps you should get a phucking clue about what you are talking about before you start dispensing your proclamations on the topic moron! But then again, we all know that you understand "the facts" and are ignoring them to spew your rhetoric and propaganda in defense of your POS, corrupt, cowardly, scumbag friends like the good little servile boot-licker you are!

Hold on... BOB's offense was second in yardage and third in points scored in 2011 and you think he was out of a job??

How can I ague with someone who gets football tips from his niece? And anyone who believes that
the OC who helped get the Patriots to the Super Bowl was about to be replaced is a dolt.
You qualify.

I am not an alumn but am homer that has heavily invested in PSU football since 1999. I loved Joe for what he stood for.

I was talking to a friend and he asked me, "how did PSU get here this fast...?"

My response:
1. Bill O'Brian. the kids that stayed would not have if not for the belief in a the new coach.
2. the kids the stuck. Probably the greatest story in PSU history to date.
3. the majority of fans and community stuck by the dumpster fire and would not leave.
4. a dumb POS ortho Dr. parading around as an AD, by some sort of miracle, hired a great coach.
5. great coach embraced the challenge PSU represented and can recruit better than anyone at PSU has since 1990.
6. current players embraced the challenge and are willing to overcome.
7. current coaching staff actually gives a shit and wants to win and is looking 3-5 years down the road with the program.

I am rooting for the Paterno family, but their fight to right the wrong done to JVP has nothing to do with the current situation as far as understand the facts of the sanction repel.

I have said it before this year, we are the Oakland Raiders of CFB. The hate is strong for PSU across the nation and it is going to take a generation before that goes away. I embrace that. Screw everyone, and in a year or two, PSU will be a perennial top ten power.

to point #4 - Franklin and Strong were the two hottest coaches at the time. Strong was going to Texas. Really, any of us could have made the choice to hire Franklin. I am more surprised that Joyner didn't screw it up.... it was a slam dunk on a kiddie hoop.
Wait - he almost did.... Golden was the first choice. I give Joyner credit only for not ultimately screwing up the obvious choice in hiring Franklin.

First, I like your summary....that is pretty much how I would characterize it. Second, I have pretty much taken your approach. There is some sort of hate for Penn State.....in some ways, more insidious than for the Raiders (which is easy to identify as their bad boy image). The hate for us is somewhere in the referee's comment that "you don't even deserve to be playing football." I think embracing the fact that ESPN and other media hate us and taking the approach of f*** them is a pretty sane way to go.

Some people love living in the past. PSU football was very relevant before Paterno but then he built it higher and let it sink by his refusal to retire and his nepotism. When he said during the dark years that fans would "just have to lower their expectations", I knew he believed the hype that he was Penn State football. Coaches O'Brien and Franklin have proved that wrong. I love having
a young, aggressive, enthusiastic, innovative, winning coach. If Paterno had fulfilled his promise
"To retire when I can no longer do the job." he would still be revered and half of Centre County
including the stadium would be named after him and there would be a statue on almost every corner. Those of you that put him on a pedestal and wish to return him to that spot are partially
responsible for his downfall.

Joe didn't sign your brat's football, right? Admit it.

You have to remember that the Paternos are PSU football. In the jobots minds, always were
and always will be.

That's what idiots who can't read would take away from the OP.... And you qualify.

You're right you can't argue with the facts.

That sad sack POS can't even recognize a fact. In his faux world, everything is "agenda".... He can't even realize that it's hard to play a bowl game when you are not permitted to do so......

He is an idiot. Jobots are not sane.

Yea, right-o jit-wad, the really "sane" ones are the BOT-bot belly-crawling servile POS who defend these @ssholes who fought ON THE SIDE OF THE NCAA in the very lawsuit we're discussing that the UNJUST AND ILLICIT NCAA SANCTIONS SHOULD STAY IN PLACE harming PSU's student-athletes and Football program?!?! LMFAO at your definition of "sanity" you pile of human excrement.

Joyner would have screwed it up, but deer season was over.

No doubt, you have to love how he defines "sanity" as defending the POS scum that placed PSU on the wrong side of this lawsuit as NAMED DEFENDANTS along with the NCAA in attempting to keep these UNJUST and ILLICIT sanctions (and consent decree in general) in place severely harming PSU's student-athletes, Athletic Department and Football Program??? Yea, its really "sane" for BOT-bots to be praising this scum for back-stabbing PSU out of pure cowardice and self-interest at the direct expense of innocent PSU student-athletes, the PSU Athletic Department and the Football Program in general including past and present student-athletes, coaches, etc.... I wonder if "Mr. Sanity" can explain why PSU just lost a $12 million suit to MM for wrongful termination if they are to be praised for their handling of this matter??? LMFAO at this useless piece of human excrement and his labeling of other people as "clueless" and "insane"!?!?
