I liked PSU's poise on offense when things weren't going there way defensively. The team never seemed to panic, get out of their gameplan and start trying to force the action offensively (which is often what causes teams to struggle offensively in these types of games imho). Team stayed poised and methodical which paid off in the 2H after defensive adjustments.

Offensively, the team played better than the stats and the b1g clown Officials were BGSU's best defender.

We played a lot of players in a tight game too. Cousins was at OG with 8 minutes to go in the game...... lots of Defensive lineman, lots of DBS.........

Bowling Green did us a favor playing us so tough in the first half...... they also showed that our DL is not as strong as perhaps we had thought......also showed that teams will attack us with the short pass...... our two deep seemed overly conservative giving Bazelak some easier short throws....mostly to the TE. With our Safeties that should not be happening. PSU D should have pulled everyone into the box and force QB to drop back and try to go over the top.

PSU's offense was great the first half. The 4th quarter sucked except for Singleton's run after an INT. The play calling went conservative with a lot of runs on 1st and 2nd down. I don't know how much was Franklin turtling up in close games vs how much was trying to extend possessions and give our D a rest.
