One reason why the nfl sucks: Leverage as an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Denver vs. Dallas. Denver makes a field goal, but a Dallas defender puts his arm on the shoulder of Denver lineman and uses it as leverage to leap in an attempt to block the kick. Not only is it a penalty, it is unsportsmanlike conduct. I don't think it should a penalty at all, let alone unsportsmanlike conduct. So Denver got an automatic first down and went on to score a touchdown.

The nfl sucks. What a terrible rule. When did the nfl stop being football?

Complete bs... they are ruining the sport with all of these rules. They need to make it a lot more like the game we played in the backyard with our buddies and less of a contest to see who can go the longest without violating some obscure rule.

And these players are supposed to be the best of the best, professionals, yet they have twice as many penalties as college and high school players. Very unwatchable.

Hey Bob I still get po'd when I think about the tuck rule fumble that wasn't, gifted to Brady and New England that would have been a playoff home loss to the Raiders and resulted in them winning Brady's first Superbowl. That was a fumble, what bs, he was stripped and they should have lost that game!

No Eagles or Steelers or any NFL BWI post this Sunday till after 4:30. At least in this circle, NFL is on life support.

I saw some of the Steelers game today. Could not believe the empty seats in Heinz. NFL appears to have some major problems. Heard TV viewing is down too and keeps dropping year to year.
