Sorry for the sloppy and choppy wording, I was taking notes as I watched.

2nd play on defense- Ohio St #1 lowers head and hits the Indiana QB in the helmet who had run for 11 yards (after a 2 yard loss on 1st down run). Targeting called but replay booth somehow determines it isn't targeting. It was textbook targeting. Anyway no penalty so Indiana goes 3 and out.

McCord isn't accurate if he has to move. Indiana had a couple of stops behind the line on runs. But the Suckeyes ran well enough to get the TD.

Indiana had a good run back on the kickoff but the refs call an illegal block in the back on the return that was more of running into the guy than an actual block in the back. Indiana starts at their 8 instead of the 34. Indiana another 3 and out but didn't have much of a chance.

Another stop behind the line on a run for Indiana. McCord misses Fleming on a deep ball and then throws short of the first down marker. 3 and out. Not a great punt by Ohio St. Ball goes out of bounds at the 29 and for some reason is spotted at the 19. No explanation given.

Indiana 3 straight runs gets a 1st down. Then a throw deep that had zero chance on 1st down. Leads to a punt.

McCord threw short to Harrison (his 2nd catch) and a better throw maybe gets the first. Run for 1st. McCord doesn't look too bad at this point but nothing downfield and zero pressure on him at this point. They actually call a holding on Ohio St on a guy that was at the RB 3 yards in the backfield, someone's getting in trouble at the Big 10 office for that. McCord makes a good throw after moving up in the pocket short of the first down. Then stuffed the 3rd and 2 run. 4th down, McCord's #1 option is taken away and then he throws across his body to the middle of the field for an INT.

Wow, Indiana actually completes a decent pass into Ohio St territory. Then Indiana has a nice 12 yard run. Indiana drive stalls and they kick a FG that bounced off the upright. 7-3.

Devin Brown in for Ohio St. 3 and out on Brown's 3rd and 1 run for loss of 3. Big kick and big return for Indiana to the 42.

Indiana runs for 1st down. Every play seems to be a run up the middle. Drive stalls and then they pass incomplete on 4th and 4. Gives Ohio St great field position. Stupid decision.

McCord back in and gets hammered by free blitzer but delivers toward Harrison who is hurt on the sideline. The Indiana DB simply makes an incomplete gesture but gets 15 for taunting. This was ridiculous. McCord hits Stover. Then a bid hit on Tate who drops a pass. McCord hit from behind, fumbles with Indiana recovery. Review overturns the call on the field and gives the ball back to Ohio St. Significant officiating help all going Ohio St's way. Ohio St hits 40 yard FG. Halftime. 10-3.

Another tackle for loss by Indiana on 2nd and short. Bad pass by McCord. 3 and out. Big punt and decent return.

Indiana 3 and out.

Stover catches for a 1st down. McCord completely doesn't see Harrison wide open deep. Then he does go to Harrison deep next play and gets the PI call. Good throw to Fleming for 1st down. Stover 1st down completion. Indiana nearly picks off a pass at the end zone. McCord runs the wrong way on a QB draw that would have been a TD. Short FG for Ohio St 13-3.

Indiana just keeps running for a couple of yards only. Indiana now has several injuries in the game. Indiana QB nearly gets picked off on 3rd down. 3 and out. Wrong route or miscommunication. Good roll on the punt to the 12.

McCord finally hits a big pass in the seem to Stover, 50 yard pass play. McCord hits Harrison for TD but Harrison was running like 3 or 4 steps out of bounds and it is brought back. Traynum seems to run tougher than the other backs and they are riding him to another TD. 20-3.

Poor run back and illegal block in the back again on KO. Indiana starts at their 7. Indiana 1st down. Headed to 4th QTR. Bad pass by Indiana. Then a good pass for 1st down but a chintzy holding is called. Tough catch by Indiana WR for 16 yards. 3rd down throw short of sticks and Ohio St late hits the guy once down but no call made on it. They go for it on 4th down and the DB just drug the WR down and it does get called, 1st down. Another completion for a 1st to Ohio st 39. Ohio St sacks QB. 4th and 14, throw and WR is hit maybe early.

Bad throw to Harrison, missed him. McCord hits RB for 12 and a 1st. McCord hits Tate for a 1st. Traynum runs for another 1st. Another big tackle for loss for Indiana in the red zone. Hits Myan Williams on wheel route for a 1st on 4th down play. McCord misses Harrison. Indiana almost intercepted pass for Fleming. Short FG for Ohio St. 23-3.

Bad return by Indiana and a flag for blocking in the back. They have had terrible field position all day. Starts at their 5. Short pass complete. QB keeper for -1. 3rd down pass goes right through the WRs hands who gets hit hard and high late by the DB. They actually do call the late hit this time, 1st down. QB sacked. Indiana QB almost throws a pick the next play. Punt.

Brown misses throw and then hits a short one. Then misses the next one. 3 and out. Brown isn't that good from the limited showing today.

Indiana short run to end the game.

Indiana couldn't throw well at all and several times Ohio St DBs may have been a hair early hitting the WRs. Indiana was killed by penalties and terrible starting field position. Their defense actually made a fair number of stops behind Ohio St's line. But they weren't getting that much pressure on McCord. McCord was adequate but missed a lot of big throws, mostly took the underneath stuff.

Not terribly impressed by Ohio St. Their defense was good but Indiana's passing game was a notch above Navy's. And the Indiana offense always seemed to start with horrible field position most of the time because of penalties. If this is the version Ohio St trots out against Notre Dame, then I'd take Notre Dame minus 2 TDs. I think Ohio St will grow but man, how do you have like half of the 5-star WRs from the last 4 years on your roster and not hit anything downfield except to the TE? If this was PSU's game one, this board would be in meltdown mode.

OSU offense didn't look great. Day was lying when he said they had 2 QB's they were comfortable with. Both looked lackluster.

I thought mccord looked serviceable but wasn't put under much pressure. It's kind of crazy to have all those 5 star WRs though and the only ball they could complete at 20+ yards was to the TE in the seem.
