With that said, while I think we're going to win the game, I don't think I'm as sure of a W as they seem to be sure of an L.
Typically we’re playing higher ranked opponents (sometimes way higher) at the 7:30 time slot. Having three wins, as well as a couple of games that could (should) have been wins, is nothing to be disappointed with.
Does not factor in death penalty sanctions...hardly an apple-to-apples comparison.

The night White Outs are great for recruiting, and college football in general.
Also in the last 10 years, I would (conservatively say) that five of those squads were greatly impacted by the sanctions.
I don't believe the PSU fanbase is looking ahead to Michigan, they're just relieved it's not a noon kick off.
I wasn't aware.... but perhaps your wisdom could enlighten.... as to how "Sanctions" differentially impact a team's performance based on the time of day that the game is kicked-off (the topic at hand) - rather than effecting performance equally regardless of the time of day.
Maybe you can "wisdom" on that.

And if you agree that the likelihood of winning games (irrespective of whether they are at night or not, although often times more marquee (read: tougher) match ups) are at night) while affected by sanctions is lower, then the value of B is lower than it would be otherwise. Therefore, the number of night wins will be lower simply because the total number of wins will be lower.
