There will be nailbiters, for sure. But fact is that Dean is small/short for the weight, and I imagine he has been scouted more than ever after last season. He’ll have a tough year — being 100% dialed-in over the entire season with what he’s up against is probably not sustainable. Better to take it in stride now and ramp up later than vice versa.I feel like we’re saying this after every one of his matches though. Sorry to be negative. Slightly worried but also confident that the he and the coaches will figure it out.
Filing eviction papers Monday morning.

Yes, I noticed the Boomers didn’t let the threat of a little bad weather keep them on their couch like some folks. These Boomers grew up before there were 2-hour school delays and school cancellations for weather. They walked to school and back home in snow that was up to their chin and it was uphill – both ways.I can’t help but notice all the baby boomers in the crowd. Wouldn’t you all be more comfortable at home? Having a bathroom nearby… and watch from your favorite recliner? Don’t worry; we’re here for your season tix. They won’t go to waste.
Not a late supper, early dinner downtown!I’m just saying… now you all have to drive home… in the dark…. eat a late supper and possibly even miss the local evening news.
Wouldn’t you be more comfortable in your own chair, sitting next to your favorite lamp?
Sorry. He’s sleeping. Is PD3 at Oregon St now?
Not just that. I watched sitting here in the CA rain with a nice warm cup of coffee and a cute little kitty curled up in my lap. Doesn’t get much better than that! ☺️I’m just saying… now you all have to drive home… in the dark…. eat a late supper and possibly even miss the local evening news.

I speculated (and it's 100% my speculation, no facts) before but I think it's possible Max just didn't train as hard this past summer as the last summer. Last summer he was very motivated since he missed 2 seasons in a row. This summer, he just just won a national title and got married as well. I thought it was interesting he didn't accept a spot in the NWCA match even though he would have been the first invited as the returning national champ but he still wrestled the Black Knight invitational. With 3 of his teammates going, you'd think it makes sense he'd go anyways but maybe he didn't think he was in shape yet for a high caliber match. (insert ducking Warner jokes lol)
Max was close to a few more losses last year and won on his tank so if his tank isn't completely full right now, totally possible he's going to drop a few. He will be fine.
Yes, and many of us boomers were renewing our wrestling season tickets (even when there were plenty of available seats day of match) for almost 30 years before Cael came to towm. So this is our reward for our investment over all of those years and I plan to enjoy it as long as I can.Yes, I noticed the Boomers didn’t let the threat of a little bad weather keep them on their couch like some folks. Alternate theory:
Max was sick. That happens, this time of year. Even if he was mostly over it last weekend, he’d likely still be feeling less than 100% today.
Thanks for the pbp gentlemen. I'm at a Disney resort so didn't really have access to anything but my phone lol. F..k Disney
Don’t have a cat, but I’ll take the rain and dogs while watching wrestling any day!Not just that. I watched sitting here in the CA rain with a nice warm cup of coffee and a cute little kitty curled up in my lap. Doesn’t get much better than that! ☺️
Lancaster, CA. In the high desert North of LA.Don’t have a cat, but I’ll take the rain and dogs while watching wrestling any day!
Where in Ca. Ag?
Can't feel my legs I walked so much the last four days. Different park four different days. My daughter danced in the Disney parade with her dance team which was part of the package. What a week lolI'm presently at Universal Orlando and feel basically the same way as you do.
Reading between the lines on this one. I hope you were safe. Not just that. I watched sitting here in the CA rain with a nice warm cup of coffee and a cute little kitty curled up in my lap. Doesn’t get much better than that! ☺️
Sorry mcpat, on the man card scale, a cat is not > than a white claw.😉
I think he’s on the path to start for the US in 2024.I was at the match today, and the wrestler I was most impressed with was Kerk. He looked physically dominant and absolutely manhandled the OSU heavy.
I resemble that remark 😉 I did watch it from home today on a large screen TV, in my recliner, with snacks and beverages. I must admit, it was pretty sweet. 👍I can’t help but notice all the baby boomers in the crowd. Wouldn’t you all be more comfortable at home? Maybe you should tell that to my kitty.Sorry mcpat, on the man card scale, a cat is not > than a white claw.😉
Agreed, if they stay.Oregon State is going to be very good in a year or 2. They have a bunch of young kids that are down to scrap. Tolentino, Belton, and Whisenhunt all got after it. Fun team to watch
Ugh, not for me. Over an hour to get out, most of that just going from level 5 to level 4. I’m never parking there again unless they change the egress procedure.I gotta say the parking deck near NLI today was a bit better
