OT: celebrate 'pi' day with a Laurel & Hardy pie fight

Saw this film in Theatre Arts class in 1969. A couple things I remember about this pie fight (my father introduced me to Laurel and Hardy in the 1950s) is that it is the first pie fight in film history. Toward the end of the fight, there is a scene in which a female tripped, landed butt first on a pie, and then after getting up and walking away, shook her leg to have pie fall out of her dress. The trip was accidental, but the director kept the cameras running and caught the shake and pie drop by accident. I still watch this pie fight on youtube every couple years.

Even though photoshopped, the Rockies won Pi Day yesterday...

LOL. "Push the button Max."
fun stuff.
I moseyed over to IMDB to read up on Lemmon and found something worth sharing.

Jack Lemmon
Kevin Spacey has frequently said that working with hero Jack Lemmon on stage in a production of "Long Day's Journey into Night" was a transformative experience for him. Spacey described himself as basically a bitter, stand-offish type at that time but was amazed that Lemmon was friendly and generous to everyone he interacted with both backstage and with the audience at the stage door and Spacey said it convinced him that being a great actor and a good person weren't mutually exclusive. The two would later share the screen in Long Day's Journey Into Night (1987), Dad (1989) and Glengarry Glen Ross (1992).
