OT: Congrats to GSW, but really disappointed for Cavs fans.

tough game to watch, as a Cavs fan. I thought GSW showed a lot of poise....I felt like LeBron and the team gave up with about 3:00 to go, when they were still in it. Teams can clam up and I felt better shot selection down the stretch would have been great. It also took until 1:30 left for JR Smith to realize he was in the Finals.

Also, just between Cavs fans, I felt the refs allowed GS to rough up the Cavs big guys with little penalty. James and Mozgov were getting hammered and even the announcers said Green should have gotten a flagrent 1. GS's plan was to double James and make everyone else beat them from the outside. then, when someone chucked it up, everyone to the glass. Without Love or Kyrie, just nobody there to hit the outside shots.

Props to GS. Best NBA backcourt I can remember. Best depth I can recall. Kerr just went down his bench until he found somebody hot. Cavs had no bench. At one point, John U Bacon tweeted that the Cavs needed to take Shumpert out (who was playing with a dislocated shoulder) and I tweeted back "and replace him with whom?" Bacon just laughed.

Problem is, no guarantee James will be healthy next year....his window is closing (perhaps two or three years at the top left).

Such is life being a CLE fan in any sport. (had to watch all those damn clips again too)

This season will always be a season of "what if," just like what they saw with Earnest Byner. Rough. All I can say, hang in there.
I know I'm probably an aberration among Pittsburgh fans, but I wanted Cleveland to win the title. I can't relate to California teams but even if I could, any fan base that has gone over 50 years without a title deserves a break.

Obli: I'm a Bay Area resident and big Warriors fan, but I have nothing but respect for LeBron and the Cavs. LeBron says he's the best player in the world. So what?! He IS (without question) the best player in the world, at least among active players. Just too many Cavs players got hurt. BTW, Mozgov was a great pickup for the Cavs. The guy can play. Same with Tristan Thompson. They just need other scoring options.

As for the foul calls and the rough play, I thought it went both ways. Draymond Green got leveled twice setting picks (once by Smith in Game 5 and once by Shumpert in Game 6). Dellevadova was riding Curry - hard - the entire series, but was seldom whistled.. I guess that's just the way the refs want to call the Finals. As long as it's consistent and they don't lose control of the game, I think it's OK..
