OT:Do you call it stuffing, dressing(southern) or filling?

My family calls it potato filling or bread filling. Somehow, I call it stuffing. I should be on TV, I just took both sides of the same debate!! Sign me up!!

For those of you who like cornbread stuffing try Brinsers roasted corn meal instead of yellow corn meal. It is delicious.

Who was the first person to say, "hey, let's take this stale bread, tear it up in tiny pieces, shove it up the ass of this overgrown chicken, cook it, and then see how it tastes?"

Whoever they were, I salute their culinary genius.

ASS. BREAD.

This Thanksgiving, ask grandma to "please pass some delicious ASS. BREAD."

Probably discovered by accident by a meal out of necessity.

I call it stuffing in or out of the bird. You're still stuffing it into a Pyrex casserole aren't you?

Dressing.
Torn small pieces of bread. Let set out overnight if possible.
1 loaf, use 2 eggs.
Onion.
Celery.
(maybe sliced carrots)
Chicken broth.
Chop up organs that come with turkey.
Sage to taste.
Milk is an option.
Mix it, stuff it, put around bird in the pan.
Eat until your hearts delight.
That’s great grandma Mercer’s recipe.
