Former state prosecutor Frank Fina, facing ethics charges over his aggressive pursuit of a former Pennsylvania State University president for covering up sex abuse there, on Friday blamed the case against him on a band of “truthers” who he said simply cannot accept the blow his sweeping investigation delivered to the university.

I try to stay away from commenting on this stuff anymore but Fina was at the wheel when that presentment went out. His own witness said it was a lie and they shipped it anyway. Then when said witness complained about it he was told to stand down. Fina's a ratbag. "Frankly" he says. Yeah let's be frank, Frank. You're under oath after all, frankness is kinda supposed to be a given. You shouldn't have to warn the panel that you're about to tell the truth. Fitting enough for him that he had to.
