I recently applied for a job on a company's website that has the typical "No phone calls, please" mantra. Should I honor that request, or should I try to reach out? I actually tried once already, but I only got a receptionist and a bunch of recorded messages. If I try to contact them again, what is the best way to proceed? It's for a position with a large nationally recognized manufacturer in York, Pa, and I think I'd be a strong candidate given the job description.

On my last two trips through the interview gauntlet I finished second once and got the job on the other, so my confidence is pretty high - if I can get a face to face interview.

Any and all advice will be much appreciated!
