Will say it was a great nap and I didn't feel a thing. One moment they are telling you the medicine to put you to sleep will start and the next thing you don't wake up until well after they are over with procedure. Unfortunately after the procedure I really don't remember one word the doctor said. It's going to be a nerve wracking week. Especially since I went online! Not sure what they will all test for. The doctors findings/impressions include:
Nodule found in the duodeum: Biopsied
Gastritis: Biopsied
Z-Line irregular 40 CM from the incisors: Biopsied
The examination was otherwise normal.
Biopsies were taken with cold forceps for histology in upper, middle third, and lower third of the esophagus.
Anyone ever go through this? Never heard of the Z-line. 3 months ago I had no symptoms and now I might have severe gerd. Of course the doctor said I'm young so chances a lower for anything serious. Then you start googling some of this stuff and it's definitely worrisome. I texted a doctor that is a friend ( family practice) and he said not to worry and those findings are common.
Appreciate prayers! Thanks!
