Why would a civil lawsuit be the end of Jalen Carter?
Never know now a days, still not a good look when he's always in the news still for thisWhy would a civil lawsuit be the end of Jalen Carter?
that is a civil suit. Not criminal. Unless the NFL wants to invoke their kangaroo court and do something, he's ok but his wallet will be lighter. Alvin Kamara just got away with assaulting some dude in Vegas. One would have to believe that the NFL approved this kid before the draft.

He was charged criminally, and in March, was sentenced to probation. Why is there only a civil lawsuit? Wasn't he street racing, left the scene and someone was killed. Is that not a crime?
But why would he be done? They knew this when he was drafted. Nothing has changed. It's people seeking a paydayNever know now a days, still not a good look when he's always in the news still for this
Wasn't that part already resolved? Why is there only a civil lawsuit? Wasn't he street racing, left the scene and someone was killed. Is that not a crime?
Isn't the league supposedly going to suspend Kamara soon?that is a civil suit. Not criminal. Well they did suspend Elliott for 6 games despite the fact that the NFL’s investigator, a woman, who was the only person to interview Elliott and the “victim” concluded in her report that she was not credible and recommended no punishment. But then again Elliott played for the Cowboys so it’s all good for Carter.that is a civil suit. Not criminal. Carter wasn't even in the league when it happened. Why would they do anything?Well they did suspend Elliott for 6 games despite the fact that the NFL’s investigator, a woman, who was the only person to interview Elliott and the “victim” concluded in her report that she was not credible and recommended no punishment. Valid question. On the other hand, according to the NFL investigator, Elliott didn’t do anything either. He also didn’t plead guilty to any criminal charges and no one died either.Carter wasn't even in the league when it happened. Why would they do anything?
He was drafted in the first round and got probation like Carter. Which is exactly why you're right. Theo shouldn't be suspended just like they shouldn't have.Hey whatever happened to the Michigan kid who got arrested for a felony the week before they played us and never missed a second of a game the rest of the season?
Yeah, take that Theo Johnson suspension and shove it: This is what we're up against.
I hate it when I agree with you lol, but being a Michigan man like you are, I knew damn well you have to agree that Theo should not see one second on the bench. He was drafted in the first round and got probation like Carter. That might be a hard ask. Don’t get me wrong this numb nuts should be jail. But he wasn’t in the NFL when the incident occurred. Not sure you can suspend a player under these circumstances. Hopefully Georgia is named in the lawsuit. Think the vehicles they were driver are leased to Georgia University.Isn't the league supposedly going to suspend Kamara soon?
NFL justice makes no sense. Terrell Pryor was suspended for 5 games as a rookie for his indiscretions at OSU. I do think it’s possible Carter gets 2 games or something for his “role” in this, but it will have zero impact on his career long term.Carter wasn't even in the league when it happened. Why would they do anything?
Means nothing in college eitherNFL justice makes no sense. Terrell Pryor was suspended for 5 games as a rookie for his indiscretions at OSU. I do think it’s possible Carter gets 2 games or something for his “role” in this, but it will have zero impact on his career long term.
PS, I still think he’s not a great dude, but that means nothing in the NFL.
Still not a Michigan fan but that doesn't alter I think Dallas made a huge mistake draft Mazi Smith in the first regardless of the arrest.I hate it when I agree with you lol, but being a Michigan man like you are, I knew damn well you have to agree that Theo should not see one second on the bench.
