OT: I've got to root for a Pitt guy now?

I still think the steelers would've been better off drafting a DE or LB rather than any QB. Wait till next year and draft or trade or sign a QB when you have an established OL and run game.

So why did the Steelers draft yet another QB in the seventh round? Kid from S Dakota St that started a Southern Florida...then to Stamford....then to SDakota State. Coulda signed a free agent QB if they wanted an arm for practice time.

Seems they shoulda added another O line or LB or even Dback where they need the help.

Cutting Rudolph basically pays for the entire draft class and this kid can serve as a mobile scout team qb to simulate those type of qbs

I think there is some amazing zen behind Franco (PSU Guy) announcing the arrival of a Pitt guy to the Western Pennsylvania pro team. It's like an exorcism of the demons of passing on Marino x years ago.

Pitt is holding the Steelers hostage. They failed at this with Penn State.
