He has been so overrated in post-season play. 9-10 with a 4.32 ERA heading into tonight. Three runs in the first two innings tonight. I'll take take Hamels or Shilling over this guy any day.

Long game but not a good start. Frankly Nats just missed 2 home runs. Easily could be 6-7 runs.

Surprised? Nope. The dude can’t handle any pressure past the sixth inning. That’s history. He is the greatest 6 inning pitcher of all time. His stats are crazy thru 6. But something happens after that and he is terrible. Why Roberts put him that situation is beyond me. Roberts should be canned!

Long time Dodger fan here. Last night was brutal. I knew this was going to be a tough series because the Nats have been strong once they got over the bad start. I feel bad for Kershaw. Some of his post season stats were caused by bad breaks and relievers not performing, but there's no excuse for the two home runs.
And the Dodgers' bats were silent after the 2nd inning. I don't think they hit a ball hard until Smith's fly out to the wall in the 9th.
The Nats might go all the way.
Wait till next year!

Maybe you won't feel so bad for Kershaw after reading this......

Clayton Kershaw signed a 3 year / $93,000,000 contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, including $93,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $31,000,000. In 2019, Kershaw will earn a base salary of $31,000,000, while carrying a total salary of $31,000,000.

Kershaw reminds me of Darvish - anytime I see him in a pressure situation I expect him to fold and he doesn't disappoint. Wish my Cubs never signed him but at least they didn't resign Arrieta.
