That's a joke, right? Please tell me you know that towel is to let the ref know it's the end of a period because the gym is noisy.... I didn't see a winky emoji....She was doing fine. I don't think they should have thrown in the towel.
Why did the ref restart them in neutral?!? The non-pink wrestler already had the takedown before the fan interference. (And even had it been a takedown tournament, then the ref should have signaled a takedown.) Was this in Russia?
Ohhhhh, is that what that is. That better? That's a joke, right? Please tell me you know that towel is to let the ref know it's the end of a period because the gym is noisy.... I didn't see a winky emoji....
Did she have a hula hoop in her corner?Best one I ever saw was a little girl wrestling a little boy. She took him down, and he started to cry. Not hurt, except for his little ego, maybe. Well, the little girl had been taught properly at home that you shouldn't hurt other people, and she thought he was hurt, so she stood up and watched him cry with a serious look of concern on her face. Then, she started to cry. It was just one big cry fest, right there in the middle of the mat.

I still remember my younger son's first wrestling match ever, at the age of 6. He had never been in competition and the coaches had never really told the new kids what to expect at match time. He took his opponent down, let him up and then waited for his opponent to shoot, whereby he then went down intentionally like they always do in little kid practices. I kept yelling, "no Nick what are you doing? Take him down and turn him." My kid had no idea what I meant and ended up losing the match (though he should have pulverized the kid). Funny, we still laugh about it. He became a MUCH better wrestler than that over the years (thank God).
Ha - that reminds me if my first wrestling match. I had joined the team midseason to fill a vacant weight class and had only 2 practices (consisting entirely of drilling takedowns and pinning combinations) under my belt before a dual. I was the first guy up, and no one had yet bothered to inform me what, exactly, happens after the first period. I had no clue what the referee's position was or how to assume it. Talk about embarrassing.
Luckily, I was already pretty handy with a half nelson (thanks dad) and ended up pinning my guy a little later.
