I remember news reports years ago about those pretzel carts in Philly not being sanitary (surprise). Do the vendors use tongs?

You’re not kidding. Your standard Wawa pretzel is better than anything I’ve had in Tx. I went back home to a Flyers game - brother had a box, and food was catered. The soft pretzels from Federal were beyond amazing.

For me, every day is national pretzel day. Not a big fan of soft pretzels, just give me a bag of Utz's Special Sourdough Extra Dark.

Picked up a few soft pretzels today at Wawa, but I eat hard pretzels every day. I pop the soft ones in the
Microwave for about 15 seconds and eat them hot with Herlockers dipping
Mustard.

Made two stops today at locations that were giving out free soft pretzels in honor of the day. The 2nd stop was to die for -- pretzels that had just come out of the oven. It doesn't get much better than that.
