Anything "Malt Liquor".Old German. Forties. nuff said.
Ham rum...we made a rum ham for a tailgate and we drank the rum leftover from soaking the ham. Think about salty $10 dollar ham flavored rum.
Was Mickey's "malt liquor"? I'm from Michigan (but I don't like and have never met michnittlion...and hope never to do so), and was introduced to some interesting, mysterious brews as I ventured East.....I was thinking Mickey's.
* Red, White, & Blue - just really, really bad
* Mickey's Malt Liquor - More of an aftertaste than Robitussin.
* Iron City - 1/2 keg ruined a tailgate - everyone was in the port-o-lets the whole time
Probably at one of our parties in Nittany 28. That and the Purple Jesus punch. Good times!Jonestown punch. Somewhere in the Nittany Barracks, or whatever that place was called.
Schaefer beer hands down was the worst I ever drank. Bought a case for 4 bucks once and ended up giving almost all of it away. I occasionally drank Mickey's after college and didn't think it was all that bad, especially compared to Schaefer. My favorite in the bars was Prior Double Dark. Wish I could still get it.

I discovered a fondness for Gennesee 12 Horse Ale along with Yuengling, but I never understood the purpose of Mickeys. The little green glass bottles were unique, however.
Great find. Squatty little bottles....that I understood made anyone who imbibed same " squat " the next morning.

Mickey's was def. malt liquor. The only thing those bottles were good for is if you were on a trip and didn't want to stop.
I was a big fan of the 12 horse ale. Is that still around?
I was a Michelob and Michelob Dark guy.
Oh and Bass Ale at the Cafe and Dark Horse Tavern.
Michelob? Were you a trust fund baby?
Yuengling was slop beer when I was at Penn State. Then Mickey's, Red White and Blue.
