I'll resist the urge to make a bad football joke. I'm not catholic, but this is a damn shame simply from the historical aspect of this church, let alone the religious aspect. The twitter-verse is saying that Paris officials believe the entire original frame is compromised and are working to save whatever they can from inside. It doesn't look good - could be a total loss which is crazy to think about for such an iconic building.
