and it is delicious
Poor Clemson.and ridiculous. Its the first week. LSU is playing Bama, PSU is playing OSU (in a few weeks) they are already guaranteed 2 losses in the top 5.
Just chill Clemson. It will be ok.
Iowa and Michigan wins stack up pretty well against next best of tamu and ... checks notes ... FSU, i’d Say.and it is delicious
I've also seen a lot of butthurt Clemson fans. The entitlement comes pretty quickly when you win a couple of nattys I guess.
I do hope Wake Forest takes them down.Does it really matter. OSu and PSu play and LSu and Bama play. So Clemson wins out they are in.
Look at the AAC this year...3-4 ranked teams. They honestly have a better body of work as a conference then the ACC does. We all know an undefeated Clemson is in whether we like it or not....the last few years has bought them that respect. I do think they are a top 6-7 team in the country but I have a hard time thinking they go undefeated in the B!G east or SEC. 2 of the top 4 have a loss within the next 3 weeks.....Clemson's toughest game left is Wake. SMH.No team in the MAC, Mountain West, or ACC should get into the playoffs. Nobody. A 1 loss Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, etc. should get in before an undefeated Clemson. The decision should be based on body of work this year. The inferiority of the Atrocious Cupcake Conference should exclude any team in that conference.
and it is delicious
If Clemson wins out the regular season there won't be a ranked team on their schedule this year...not one.and it is delicious

yeah- this week it's SOSThe resumes don't lie.
The committee basically looks at Clemson as 4b - the top four will eliminate half of the current top teams. By next week Clemson will be back in. It was the easiest way to not offend anyone and keep the rankings based on strength of record.
If Bama/LSU and tOSU/PSU run their respective tables, they’ll have earned the 1 & 2 rankings. And the SEC table would be FAR more impressive.Clemson will jog into the playoffs. Every single team ahead of them has real games left on the schedule and Clemson could easily end up the #1 seed. Hell the top 4 play each other the next 3 weeks so that puts them at 3 right away. Bama still has Auburn and possibly UGA...that is after LSU. LSU still has Bama and possibly UGa in the title game. PSU has Minny and tOSU on the road. Clemson fans should just STFU and realize that if they played in the AAC this year they would get more respect. That isn't their fault, but it's the simple truth. If you had money right now to put down on any of the 5 teams to make the playoff....Clemson would be the easiest bet to make. Watch out for Wake....oooooohhhhh.
Wouldn’t be hard at all. I’d throw a “Hail to Pitt” party, Pink’s hot dogs and all!!!!Best thing for us is for Pitt to get to the ACC playoff game and beat Clem. Kills Clem and helps our strength of schedule. Hard as it is to cheer for sPitt......
Except that they’d be the third undefeated team, which is EXACTLY what this playoff was designed to protect. (Edit: no shot at you, @PennState_one, but) It’s comical that people keep moaning about a legitimate playoff for a college football championship. I get wanting that, but since when was the college football post-season system designed (or intended) for that? [Rhetorical question alert]Wish I could say this is a bad thing for Clemson, but we all know it's not. I still believe wins vs losses is still the holy grail to get in when it is all said and done. Absolutely no reason a team with Clemsons resume should be in the final 4...
I'm not sure that's too unusual. If you take out bowl games, my guess is that most Big 10 teams have only played a couple of ACC teams (if that). PSU and Rutgers (and obviously Maryland) have played more due to joining the conference later.Fun fact (if I am reading a website right)?
Aside from bowl games, Clemson has literally never played a game against a big ten team.
Inbreeding begets bad things in the cranial cavity fellas.

Done! You’re invited!Hell, I might even throw some fries on my sandwich!

Biggest challenge for Clemson is game-planning their ACC cupcakes while also game-planning for real teams in the CFP—already. Between a 1-loss LSU and a 1-loss PSU, gotta figure it comes down to the score and the eye-test. And if LSU loses to a Bama team without Tua, the committee would penalize LSU.
I like how she who ever this idiot women is leaves out PSU's win over Michigan to try to prove a point.
Bama’s wins so far aren’t. I agree. But looking at their remaining schedule, with LSU, Auburn (2 close losses and a big win over O) and presumably GA in the SECC, I’d go with an undefeated Bama’s complete slate, even more so for LSU. GA’s loss to USCe was bad but I nearly fell out of my chair with Wisky’s loss to IL. Without that, I’d say the road through the B1G this season should be regarded as at least comparable. But Wisky doesn’t look as strong as they did and unless UM continues their upward trajectory since halftime of our game (with all the media continuing their sales pitch at full blast) I don’t think tOSU’s road will be quite as impressive. How many ranked teams will Bama have beaten if they win out? Not only has Clemson played almost nobody, BAMA has played few teams with a winning record. Now, if you meant Bama's record would be far more impressive than Clemson's I would agree. Not clear to me from your post
1. To be sure, BIG teams have played comparatively fewer regular season games against the ACC and SEC than they have played against the PAC and B12.I'm not sure that's too unusual. If you take out bowl games, my guess is that most Big 10 teams have only played a couple of ACC teams (if that). PSU and Rutgers (and obviously Maryland) have played more due to joining the conference later.
But I agree with your general take which is screw Clemson.

That is the big IF. Who has the easiest path to run the table right now was my point. Bama has LSU, AU, and UGA in title game. LSU still has @Bama and possibly UGA. tOSU has PSU, UM, and possibly Wisky again. PSU has @MIN, @tOSU, and the BT title game. Clemson has Wake and maybe Pitt or some other ACC slob in the title game. An undefeated returning National Champ won't get jumped over by a 1 loss team IMO. It could happen, but I'll believe it when I see it.If Bama/LSU and tOSU/PSU run their respective tables, they’ll have earned the 1 & 2 rankings. And the SEC table would be FAR more impressive.
