Um, did anyone watch Ben Simmons last night? Damn, he looked good. Fultz not quite ready for prime time, but he has plenty of time to get there. Can't wait to see Embid and Simmons together.

Fultz will get more control of his body in the air as the season goes on. He missed a number of very makeable drives that I expect will start to fall

By all accounts, Oakfor looked good physically and had a good game last night. Embiid was cleared for and participated in a 5 on 5 full court scrimmage today and dominated per Philly.com but he wont be playing the next scrimmage.

I didn't watch the whole game, but Okafor didn't look much different than last year (except slimmer). Still a decent scorer and lazy defender.

Simmons is a remarkable passer. I don't see Fultz as being the best player out of the recent draft, but we'll see.

Should be a very entertaining team to watch. Need better shooting.

Fultz is going to be very good.just needs to continue to get stronger and develop his game. Best thing is with the focus being on Simmons and Embiid he can develop his game and fit in without the pressure of having to carry the team and being that high of a draft pick. His arms are eerily long and will be a very good player. I really like where this team is headed and about 2 years from now should be beast mode

Agree. He's got a fairly thick NBA body and great handle. Some of those step back jumpers he was drilling in the summer league were pretty sweet. For some reason he is messing with his shot and it looks different than it did then.

This is a messed up franchise, worthy of Cleveland Browns ridicule. Only the Sixers can get top of the draft assets and completely screw the pooch. Conventional wisdom is that the NBA is dramatically and forever changed, favoring small and quick. Only the Spurs managed to be an elite team featuring a big (Duncan) while the other more recent dominant teams such as Cleveland, Golden State, OKC were built on athletic smalls with players who could all handle and were interchangeable to some extent.

What did the Sixers do but draft bigs for three straight years in complete contradictory fashion. Now they are left with a player (Noel) who has been openly critical of the organization and can't wait to flee and another (Okafor) who is the league's ALL TIME worst defensive player (based on plus minus) who is buried on the bench recently as a Coach's DNP decision. And the Sixers expect to get value for either or both in trade? Pundits and people a lot smarter than me have scratched their heads with the draft day decision making of the Sixers and have been open in their view that a team featuring three bigs would NEVER work. But the Sixers kept plodding along.

So, they have tanked forever and what has it yielded? A big who is still a huge injury risk and a player who is currently hurt who seems destined to want a different market when he is able to move. At least the draft of Simmons was in line though with the current player that excels in the NBA. There is still some talk, NOT on how you manage multiple bigs but on playing a game with just Embiid, given the current makeup of the NBA. It's not just multiple, it's how to construct and manage one. A lot of people who rave about Embiid say they wish he came along 10 years ago when the NBA was a different league so that his place and skills could be better suited.

All we have heard about is how great Brown is at managing and developing talent. He seems completely befuddled on the bigs and likely has turned both Noel and Okafor into under achievers who will deliver 2nd round picks in return as players who at one time were viewed as being potentially the best players in their draft class.

The Sixers are a dumpster fire, a hot mess, whatever you want to call them. You want a case study on a screwed up franchise, they are front and center.

TRUST THE PROCESS!!!

Throw it DOWN big fella.....

I’m in love. Embiid is a force, but Ben is the best pure talent we’ve had since Barkley.

Add Lakers pick, our own pick, and a Max free agent this offseason.

The Celtics only get the Lakers pick if it's 2-5. If it's not, then the Celtics get the Sixers first round pick in 2019

Should add: the Sixers have their own first rounder and the Kings first rounder in 2019, so the Celts would get the higher of the 2, unless the higher is first overall, then they get the other.

They had a nice road win last night without Embid to make it 5 straight, although they gave up a big lead late in the game to make it closer than it should have been. The supporting cast on this team is pretty good now with Saric, TLC, Reddick, Covington, and even the big man, Amir Johnson, contributing. There is a lot of talent on this team. Baylis, Embid, and Fultz weren't even dressed. They are 6-4 now with 4 more games on this road trip to go. Simmons and McConnell have been working really well together.

The refs were absolutely atrocious in that game. Horrible.
