I'm sick of crouching uncomfortably over a small monitor so my goal is now to hook my computer up to a big screen TV and ease back and relax when I use the computer. That will mean a wireless computer and mouse.

The keyboards I've used up to now are much thicker (bottom to the top of the keys where your fingers hit). I'm used to them and I can type fast. But many of the new keyboards I see are thin. It would be an adjustment. Does anyone use these? Can you type fast after you get used to it?

Next question has to do with the wireless mouse. I could get a wireless mouse but then my hand would have to leave the keyboard every time I use the mouse. And plus, if I'm in an easy chair then there's no real place for a mouse to sit. So I'm thinking of getting a keyboard with a mouse in it, where you use your finger to move the cursor. I see both the kind with the mouse area in the middle bottom and in the upper right. Anyone use these? Any opinions on them?

Any thoughts are appreciated. TIA.

I use an apple keyboard and mouse. The mouse of have is a detached trackpad.

I've gotten used to the flat keyboard and it is nice, both in terms of efficiency and aesthetics. I like the detached trackpad because it makes my keyboard much smaller.

Its all personal preference but honestly, after a couple of weeks, you'll get used to whatever you have.

Just my opinion though...
