Obviously a nice win. But what weight class or classes do you see the greatest potential for improvement as the season goes along, in preparation for the B10 and NCAA tournaments?

133 will be better when Cortez is back.
197 will not get pinned again
141 could AA or could not even qualify. Really hard to tell.

Long way to Nationals, but with what you EXPECT out of ZainR, Nolf, and Nickal (three guys near the top of the podium, with 1 maybe 2 Champions):
If they can get 125 and 285 near the top of the podium as well, ya' gotta figure they have a shot to run with OSU1 and Iowa for the team title

Could be a hell of a race for the team championship, where every consolation match and every bonus point becomes critical

Would make for a fun tourney

a little surprised at your comment - "1 maybe 2 Champions"
We will have at least 2 champions, You really think someone will beat Nolf or Zain? That would be shocking? Who can beat Nolf/Zain?

No one would be favored to beat them.....I don't think. But that's not the point

What I said was what was EXPECTED - you can read that to mean what is considered a "near lock" deal that you can count on

Even if no wrestler is favored to beat Nolf (for example) ...... even if he is - just as a for instance - an 8-1 favorite all the way through each match (which is a HUGE favorite, and only ZT may really be that "favored", I would think)......

Anyway, even in that instance:

The odds of winning the title are only 50/50 (49.something % - to be precise. You can do the math yourself)
So EXPECTING anyone to take a title - as if it's a given - even a guy who's a strong favorite - just doesn't make sense

But, between the 2 of them? Yeah, i think there are VERY high odds of at least one Champ, and as a team - when you include Nickal and the rest - a couple of champions is not at all far-fetched. IMO

But , none of that matters until March
