Ah, just dawned on me. BTN had Snyder, but the actual tournament OW went to Martinez, I bet.
IMar won the toughest weight and deserved it. McKenna gave up 0 points, but that was one of the Bigs weakest weights
McKenna didn't have to wrestle a top-10 opponent. NCAAs will be a lot different once he reaches the quarters.
I guess we'll see. He's looked awfully derned solid to me for a bit now.
He reminds me too much of Cliff Moore from Iowa, who won a national title on the most basic of styles that we teach in this sport. Stay square and in good position, and good things will happen.
McKenna personifies that and it's a style I like, regardless of how "boring" it may be to ancillary fans.

He had a nice run ... no doubt ... but not long ago he beat Lee on ridding time. I have a hard time believing he separated that much in 1 month.
I hope Martinez won it. He deserved it the most. Even if that p**** had to use that delgado stall move at the end.
