Who said he makes tackles 8 yards down field? He was best run defensive linebacker in country. PSU run D was Stout beacuse of him.

His tackling style reminds me more and more of Sean Lee. He doesn’t blindly launch himself into people. He uses his agility to get in front of his targets, doesn’t leave his feet and wraps up well.

Parsons did a lot of wrestling as a kid, which has served him well for getting ball carriers to the ground. Jan Johnson, a PIAA wrestling champ, is also a good tackler, though he doesn't have the speed of Parsons.
