Penn St ranks 11th in most valuable sports programs.

It would be interesting to see how we compare to OSU by category.

. Both in B1G
. Both huge alumni base
. Both 100,000+ stadiums

The $60 mil in alumni donations if just for football jumped out at me. I wonder how we do on that front?

It is in the link. tOSU is valued at $1.32B at $280m in annual revenue. They are raked #1. Second was UTx at $1.28B and $271m in annual revenue. Michigan and Nebraska ranked in front of us from the B1G. USC was right after us. Wisconsin 15 and Oregon 17

It's interesting that Oregon can be ranked that high when their stadium only holds around 50+ thousand. I'm assuming those figures include ticket revenue as well?

it is for their entire sports program, not football only but inclusive of.

As far as I concerned, the whole is suspicious. OK State is funded by OK oil money (Slim Pickens mostly), Oregon is funded by Nike. There are several others, but these are two notables.

well I saw the aggregate with OSU about $400 million more valuable, & $75 million more in revenue what were the big differences
what made we wonder with contributions from the B1G being relatively equal, with comparable stadium size, and similar alumni base where did their revenue exceed ours by 30% and their value by almost 40%

One in a huge city, the other in the middle of nowhere. No comparison.
