BB Recruiting Penn State Basketball continues to prioritize legacy recruit Royce Parham

Have always wondered why we haven’t gotten some top legacy recruits. With all the great athletes that have come through multiple programs….football, womens basket ball, womens volleyball, lacrosse, field hockey, and many others…..it would seem likely that some of these former atheletes would also have great atheletes as children. And a few of those children would have strong connection to the university.

A lot of former atheletes spend a lot of time and money at their schools. Some get involved in things like fund raising, promotion, administrative positions, charitable activities and more. Seems a few great offspring would naturally follow that path.

It may be like my kids applying to and getting accepted to Univ Park. Both wanted smaller schools. Both love PSU. But maybe they did it more for me than them? Neither went to PSU...but they wore State gear on their campuses!

Titcus Pettigrew and Bonnie Bremner’s son is a freshman playing at fellow bubble team Nevada.

We’ve had a couple potential legacies the last few years in Hayes and Lively, but they were both a little too good.
